SD Logging: Start and Stop
I have been assuming that the SD Card logging utilizes a momentary contact switch. Press it once to start, and again to stop.
Is this correct?

1) Always, as you described
2) Triggered by, I assume, any loggable condition
3) Start / Stop from an I/O input. This is the one I'm referring to.

Aidandj,
Thanks. Yeah, I just found it. And it answered my other question about the light as well. I was trying to set up via the Advanced Engine I/O section, rather than in the SD Logging section.
I found it here: http://www.megasquirt.co.uk/doc/pdf/...ing_Up-1.3.pdf
I do agree with your advice to read the manual. I assure you I looked and searched, but did not do so in the right places until just now. Likely because I was looking in the Hardware and TS manuals, rather than the setting up one.
Thanks again.
