That's a no go. Switched my coil triggers and sounds the same. Also hooked up the iat but no change.

Do you see RPM on the virtual tach when you crank? Do you have fuel? Do you have spark?

shouldn't sound the same with the coils switched. Sounds like you're missing fuel or spark.
Remove sparkplug and check for fuel / spark.
Crank settings correct for 99 miata?

DOH! My ignitions settings are jacked on the tune I have on there, guess I didn't burn it or something. After I get it hooked back up (its really getting old connecting and disconnecting the wiring harness, can't feel my fingers anymore) I'll double check all the settings again.

Also, is there anyway to setup the stock ecu to run the alternator, I'm going to leave it under there, might aswell make it work for the roof over its head. I have all the plugs and everything. Do I need anything besides the alternator wires and 12v and ground?

Well, fixed the ignition settings and still nothing, no tach movement, not gauge movement whatsoever when I crank it, for some reason the tps doesn't even work anymore. I included my latest tune but I don't know what the problem is and now I can't mess with it anymore. Today is basically the last day I had to get this running before I have to scrap the whole turbo project. Had to cancel my appointment with the exhaust guy and box the turbo stuff up. Maybe a later date, I have to go back to school now.

I'll have to get a megastim and see if I can figure out whats wrong, I probabbly fucked something up in the build, who knows. Really frustrating just having it work 100% or not at all though. Impossible to troubleshoot. Bah, now I'm just bitching, kind of frustrating day though. Thanks for all your help so far, wouldn't have got anywhere near this far without your guys help.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't see anywhere in the thread whether (and how) you built the 99-00 crank/cam input circuit. I think that's where all the fuss is.

Check it, re-check it, and then check it once more. If it seems fine, scrap it and build it from the ground up again, I had to build it 3 times from scratch before it would work for me on my previous MS2. If you are not getting solid RPMs in TunerStudio, that's the source of your problems.

Yup I'm gonna buy have to buy a megastim first. Don't feel like doing trial an error by standing on my head to connect/disconnect it lol.
