Mspnp2 Miata cranks but won't start
I have my mspnp2 plugged in to my 1993 Miata. When I go to start the car, it cranks but when it fires there is a popping noise and it shuts off. It sounds kinda like a misfire. I am running on the base map that I downloaded but I upgraded to yellow 440cc rx8 injectors. I didn't change the base map at all. I also have no exhaust on my turbo so my stock oxygen sensor is just hanging there not plugged into anything. I know it's stupid to do that but I don't drive the car it's just for testing the turbo. After the car wouldn't start on mega squirt I plugged in stock ECU and it starts right up. I don't know if the problem is the ecu not accounting for the bigger injectors because I didn't change the base map or is it my stock oxygen sensor not going anywhere. I was also thinking it could be a problem with timing. Also, the afm was kinda loosely on and was definitely leaking air because I had a 3 inch elbow off of the turbo intake but the afm is 2.75 inches. So multiple things can be causing it to not start but I don't know which one exactly would cause it to misfire and shut off. I want to know what settings I need to change in tuner studio or what I need to do. I did remove the fuse that I needed to from the fuse box. Thanks for the help!
