COPs with MS2
Hello all,
I'm building my MS2 right now but didn't assemble any of the ignition circuitry yet. I'm wondering if someone has some clarification or instructions on what to build for COP ignition. I understand I only need 4 trigger signals from the CPU, no need for drivers but I need a schematic to build the circuit.
Also, I have the 4-1 cas from a BP mazda protege and I noticed that it is the one to use, not the 4-2 miata cas. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thank you

Part numbers (and everything else) listed here: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12704
For full sequential operation, the 4-1 CAS ought to work. Details here: http://www.msextra.com/ms2extra/MS2-Extra_4_1.htm
Coil driver info here: http://www.msextra.com/ms2extra/MS2-...n.htm#copsetup
The coils themselves are powered by +12, and require a +5v active-high signal to fire, so setup the MS wiring accordingly.
