Default MegaSTIM's usefulness

How much do you guys use your MegaStim after the MS is built? Is it used as a diagnostic tool after the MS is installed in the car?

The reason I'm asking this is because.. if you're not using it anymore, would anyone have one to sell perhaps?

The stim only costs $48.00, and in that price you also get the fun of building it.

This is true, but I think I remember reading one thread where the person was having trouble assembling the STIM, and had a great quote, "How can I test the tester?"

I'm trying to make this install as clean as possible and my project has BUDGET as its number 2 priority. (Number 1 is DIY fun, of course). So, if it's possible to save $20 on an pre-assembled, pre-tested STIM, then I'd like to go that route.

It's great during the build, but afterward no so much. The board mods for ignition make the stim not so functional.
