Happy Easter all,

I am running a MS1 on my 99 and I created a little problem by changing settings which I can't correct. I am using the regular MS idle circuit kit. I tried using the jperf board which did not seem to work with MS1. (MS1 and MS2 must have a different idle control circuit) OK, heres the problem. My idle runs at 2300rpms for about 2 or three seconds before it ramps down to the1400rpms that I have it set at. I tried adjusting after start enrichments, idle control, idle advance, warm up wizard and cranking settings. I am currently using warm up only on idle control.

Found the problem. I had to set the cranking idle valve setting the same as the low temp idle valve setting. apparently it takes the idle valve a couple of seconds to transfer from cranking to low temp. (after the car is started). Has anyone ended up with a good solid idle from a MS1 on a NB with the idle set to the "warm up only" setting? I know closed loop will never be satisfactory.
