Can anyone who's running a pretty much standard 1.8 send me their msq? I've hooked up my CLT, IAT and MAP sensors and started the car, thankfully the MS worked, and displased the correct outputs. I've now hooked up my injectors, (1&3 to INJ1and 2&4 to INJ2 - I assume this is right as the 1.8's run sequential so i've had to join them together to convert to batch..?).
If someone could send me a basic msq to get my car started that'd be great! I'd set it up myself, but I don't understand some of the terminology, and I've no idea what the flowrate of my stock injectors are, dispite hours spent on the web :(
You can use about anyone's on here, I can give you mine. But you really need to know what size your injectors are. This is because of one of the great things about a standalone is that you can apply settings to different engines fairly accurately thanks to the constants page. just set your engine size and injector size, and the VE map is scaled to fit your car. Also don't forget to change the dwell to 2.2 or so because the 1.8 coils can't handle what the 1.6s can.
I´m loving this! Richyvrlimited is just a week or so ahead of me and providing pictures and asking just the right questions.
I started the soldering this afternoon and now I´m halway through the assembly guide (nr 41) and every test is fine so far. Thanks Richyvrlimited for making my life easy.
I could be wrong, but if someone was mining for email addresses, they would go to the membership list before hitting individual posts. I've never been able to trace spam back to our forum. But I have seen where some service providers almost encourage all sorts of spam so that they can charge you for stopping it. (Peoplepc)
