Request for MS2e idle settings & free tip on standalone fuel pump wiring
Can someone with working idle PWM settings for MS2e please post them? Preferably for the 1.6 and even better for the latest 2.1.0 beta. Closed duty, open duty, frequency, etc. I have seen them posted for MS1e but those settings, when converted, don't work well for me. I think it may be due to differences in my driver circuit, but I want to verify with a known working configuration.
And the free tip, for those building a standalone harness with AFM delete: rather than tapping into the light green wire on the other side of the car to drive the fuel pump relay, wire the MS fuel pump driver output to pin 1F on the 1.6 harness, which is the 'FM' position in the diagnostic connector (or the equivalent for the 1.8). This way your jumper wire is only about 1 inch long, from FP to FM in the diag box.
