1.8 BEGI log ($280) and a well used Garrett 2560 ($300)
Hi,
These parts were on my 2002 Miata. I'm building the engine so my car is all apart and I want to take advantage of more than 12 psi so I want more flow and a larger turbo
Selling - BEGI log manifold.
Selling because I'm thinking of going to an S4 system. Log has an EGR threaded bung and was fine before I took my car apart. $280
Selling - Garrett 2560 turbo
Turbo's "pedia"
Bought this used here about 2 years ago. Ran great, I did a few bad runs last spring where there was sligh det. and lean conditions (but I had to make a pass on a guy on the highway !!) so I did some damage to the motor. It ran slower off boost and on. Just felt down on power everywhere. Then my car started to run slooowwww boost. It still hit the target psi it just boosted slow. Don't know if it was a leak, bad turbo or valvetrain. My car died last summer as it progressively got slower and so now I'm going built motor.
Turbo has been sitting for a year so its dry and the shaft has play in both directions, the blades are in good condition. The housing has been ported. I took it to Alamo turbo here in town and they said well it doesnt seem that bad, perhaps run it in your new motor and see if it was the motor dying (low compression from bad valvetrain/rings) that caused it to boost slowly. After getting the motor apart I had bent rods so for sure there was motor issues. The turbo never made any blade noise and spun down ok so there was no clear verdict on its condition. Bottom line is that it may or may not be ok. I was going to put it back in but since I'm going forged I'm looking at a turbo with more potential so I'm not going to bother. It may be great for years or it may be in need of a CHRA. I'm pricing it a $300. I may or may not need the hose adaptors on it, I will know shortly based on my new used Disco I hope to aquire.
Please help starving children who wear pink crocs and change into 4 different outfits and jam screwdrivers and wrenches into my car parts when Im doing work. Don't tell her mom we placed turbo parts on her dress !
I'm in Canada so shipping will be threeve hundred per gram or 7 parsecs, whatever is less. All studs will be removed from mani/turbo for safer shipping.
I may have some coolant banjo fittings and lines as well.
PS does anyone need A/C or P/S items. I'm deleting them as well. I may also have a drilled oil pan for sale.
**** Rough shipping estimates to the US - FedEx ****
Oil pan and mani $65
Manifold $45
Turbo $55

On a totally unrelated but kinda related note, sell me your jacked up pistons and rods w/rod bolts and pins. I'll give you beer money + shipping for them when you get the out of the motor. I need some for a project, LMK.

Sorry for the late response, Saturday, kids, life etc. I'm going in chronological order and will get quotes on shipping and reply here and to pm's.
I would love to keep at least one set of piston/rod. I keep all my old cool engine parts. I have my 250 two stroke, kids 50 and 70 pistons and my favorite a CRF450 piston which is just like an F1 slipper piston.

No worries! I should have said I just need one set (rod/piston/pin/bolts combo) but I'll take what ever you want to get rid of. If that works, shoot me a PM and we can make it happen. If not and you want to keep the whole set, I'll probably post up in WTB. I'm sure someone out there has something in the garage they would be willing to part with
Also, not sure how old your daughter is, but that turbo looks MASSIVE with her hands in the frame

Manifold is fine, no cracks.
I can fit the manifold inside the pan (well padded) so the pan and mani are a better deal, though in Canada the shipping to the US is never that good of a deal
The oil pan and manifold together are 22lbs boxed and roughly $65 shipping by Canada Post or FedEx with default $100 insurance. Upping the insurance to 300CDN adds $28 to shipping.
Just the manifold is $45 with standard $100 insurance.
FedEx means I drive a bit further to drop off but I trust there insurance, tracking etc better. Funny story, the parts I'm selling you were part of a package deal I bought 2 years ago from Florida and my injectors and wiring harness got damaged on the way up here by USPS/Canada Post. Box was torn in spots. Took over 10 months but I got some money back. I choose USPS cause I'm cheap but I did add extra insurance since it was a $2500+ deal.
Here it looks like FedEx would be best.
You were first in line so let me know what you want to do now that you know the shipping costs. I may be able to get banjo fittings and the old coolant lines in there, I'll keep you updated.

So you don't need all 4 pistons, rods etc, just 1 cylinders worth - correct ?
The turbo does look huge in those pics. She's 4 going on 12 !

Correct, just need 1 cylinders worth, but I'll take whatever you want to get rid of. This is more of a "if it's going in the trash, send it to me instead and I'll hook you up with beer money" kind of deal. Its not ever going back in an engine so it does not need to be functional at all. Bent rod, detonation burns in the piston, screwed up ringlands don't matter for my application.

Sure I can probably get you the remaining 3.
Are you making an artsy design with them, my interests are peaked ?
I don't drink so what is beer money usually meaning $$ wise? Got a used oil pressure gauge and sender you can spare?

No OPG unfortunately :( I figured I'd throw you $25 to cover shipping and whatever, if that works let me know.
I'm more autistic than artistic (ok, now I'm going to hell...) so my plan is to JBWeld the piston to the pin to the rod, and then possibly drill and tap the bearing cap and make draft tap handles for my keezer/kegorator build. Hopefully they aren't so heavy that they pull the taps open... it may take some balancing to get it right. I've got my stock NB shift ****, a chunk of broken camshaft and some other stuff. I'm being "creative"
lol @ 18, you've got more ---- in your garage than I do! I'd have said something earlier but I literally thought of this when I stumbled across Landrews FS thread, so I figured I'd ask.

Sent money. I would like more insurance if possible if it's not too much more
