MP62 Supercharger Kit, Dual TB System, and TDR Intercooler (Partial Kit)
Up for sale is my spare 4-rib BRP MP62 supercharger kit. Included with the kit is a Track Dog Racing intercooler and my own custom built dual throttle body system. The supercharger was in use on my car from the spring of 2013 up until the spring of this year. I'm only selling because I just swapped out the supercharger for a 6-rib BRP R3 MP62 setup. Everything you see in the pictures is included. The bag-o-bolts you see in the pictures has all of the bolts you'll need to put everything together plus more (I accidentally mixed together the extra bolts that were included with my 6-rib kit). The system put down a constant 7psi all day long on my 1.8L with VVT which feels AMAZING! As you can see, the rotors have some teflon wear (which is completely normal and is not indicative of any problems unless the rotors themselves have metal-on-metal wear [mine don't]). The intercooler I'm including came with my 6-rib kit and most definitely does not include all of the air shrouds or mounting hardware that TDR normally includes with their $1100.00 kit, but if you don't feel like piecing together some simple metal hardware or feel like cutting out some simple shapes out of 1/8" plastic, TDR will sell you the parts that are missing to make it a complete kit. Gary @ TDR sold me the following parts (plus more that I was missing with my TDR intercooler that's currently installed on my car) to complete the intercooler kit:
1 ea SS backing panel and SS rivets $20
1 set Radiator plastic panel setup with hardware $125
2ft. 3/8” cloth hose, barb fittings and clamps for P/S cooler $20
1 set Radiator mounting brackets $45
Shipping $25
So for $235, the intercooler kit can be 100% completed and installed per TDR's instructors instead of rigging something up. The previous owner also appears to have partially painted the intercooler for some reason. When you decide to pull the trigger on buying what I have for sale, I'll use some marine-grade aluminum boat cleaner on it to hopefully get rid of the paint (I can't guarantee it though).
The dual TB kit includes an additional throttle body that has been modified to include a 2nd fulcrum for the 2nd throttle cable. The blow off valve is a Forge universal (very nice and not annoying sneezing sound). The supercharger outlet is not shown in these pictures. I'm currently in the process of stripping off some nasty grey/blue powdercoat from the previous owner. Rest assured, it is included with the sale.
Buyer pays actual shipping costs. I will accept PayPal (you pay the PayPal fees), Google Wallet (preferred), or cash in person if picking up locally. This is an AS-IS sale due to the fact that I won't be responsible for you blowing up your car or the supercharger kit. I also will not do technicial support (there are plenty of forum posts out there for that), but I will include some printed manuals from BRP and TDR for the supercharger and intercooler. For the people who don't know better, you WILL need engine management of some sort (piggy back, powercards, Megasquirt, etc.) and some larger injectors to safely run this kit on your car.
Feel free to ask any and all questions. I have no idea what kind of power the kit made in my car (I never took it to the dyno), but I managed a 14.5 1/4 mile at 97.84mph with granny shifting and diff mounts that were completely destroyed.
