Just jump up and down on it for awhile and it'll sorta fit in the short term.
I know first hand... YouTube - Fun with hoodpins, Splitime's turbo miata at Autobahn North

Guy in hayward as in the dude selling the hardtop +whole non running car? I kinda just want a hood lol.

Splitime - haha you beat me! That was pretty funny. I guess I just have to laugh about my situation.

Have a slightly damaged hood (SUV backed into it) that is very repairable for free if you want. I'll take pictures this weekend if you PM me your email. Pick up in SF.

So... guy in hayward wants $190 for a red hood... $150 if I get a blue one.
Local dismantler I found has a white one with hinges (I broke my hinges too) for $100...
more than I wanted to pay either way but I'm thinking 100 is about the bottom end of the price range for a hood.. any thoughts?

keep checking craigslist, i sold my mint silver hood off my 90 a while back for 120...

May want to check the norcal portion of the spec miata forums. Since they generally go through hoods a bit faster than us.

Maybe.. except that most spec hoods for sale practically have tire tread marks running across them.. finding one in decent condition that was taken off a spec miata is tough

Call Brent at .:: Production Auto Painting ::. he has a couple hoods $100 a piece. He is our local Miata salvage shop, he has like 10-15 Miatas in various stages of build.
