Want to borrow: GReddy Manifold
*Not sure if this is the correct forum, sorry mods*
I would like to borrow someone's Greddy Manifold to measure. I only need it for a day. Hopefully someone local as new manifolds list for $300; shipping 2 ways across the country plus cost of materials may not be worth making one from scratch.
Anyone close to central NJ and have a manifold collecting dust? I know it's a stretch...
Thanks,
Tim

Or I'll sell it with a new GReddy manifold. I hear they are less money now and you don't need a core anymore.
Or I'll use the GT2554 myself and try to sell the downpipe and other stuff seperately. Dunno yet.
I want to have the GReddy manifold dimensions just in case though.

A 1.8 manifold that places the turbo where the GReddy kit does? Hmmm. I probably could but I think the turbo placement is bad on the GReddy manifold. If you have a 1.8 and want to build your own kit you should get a manifold that has the turbo lower, like every other manifold out there.

Thanks for the offer! I am picking up a manifold this afternoon from BRGRacer (thanks tom!) Of course please do visit when you move, it'd be nice to have more turbo miatas in the area.

That's part of the plan, that is if it's worth the time/money like you said. I know the ETD replacement manifold is around $400? and I'd try to do more of a tubular style instead of a large log like the greddy. That is if there's room for smoother pipes under the greddy manifold without crashing into the power steering, etc, I forget what's under there.

OK. It won't be soon though. I still have to figure out what I want to do, then build it. And probably what I want to do will take a while to build.
And it won't be inexpensive. I'd like to clean it up and mount it on a spare head/intake I have in storage. I bet the wife would love that in the living room
