2003 VVT Head/Valve Cover/Actuator/Coil Packs - Low Miles! - $250
Well guys... It's time to get out of the Miata game. Wife and son will be here soon, so I've got to trade-up for a car with a back seat. So, I'll be removing all of my parts soon and posting them up.
For now, I have the original VVT head form my car. I saved this head when I spun a rod bearing in my original engine. The engine had around 55k miles on it, and ran great. There is no visible damage to the head and it should bolt on and go. It has been sitting for a while, so it will probably need a good cleaning. I also regularly sprayed the head down with WD-40 to minimize any surface rust on the cam lobes, but they'll all still need a little cleaning.
I had planned to port this head and redo the valvetrain. So, my engine builder hard started tearing the head down. Looks like he got as far as removing the cam sprockets, and that's about it. So, you will need to reinstall the sprockets, and probably should re-torque the cam caps before install. He also put all of the nuts and bolts in a bag, so I'll be sending those with the head, but they're not installed.
You've basically got all the major parts you need here to do a swap. Valve cover with actuator, coil packs and wires, and the head itself.
I'm pricing this thing pretty low for the fact that there's some reassembly required. $250 does not include shipping, but I have UPS and Fed Ex accounts at my shop, so shipping will be discounted.
Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions.
