Default Parting 96 open track car, BEGI, FM, Hydra, Tein, BBK, etc

I decided to part out my 96 Miata. Below is a partial list of items I am removing to sell. The list is long. Email lubelizard @ bellsouth.net with questions. I am in the process of pulling the parts, so some are ready for shipping, some may take some time.

Engine/Drivetrain/Exhaust:

Bell Engineering S4 turbo kit for 99-00 heads, tubular turbo header, 2871 turbo, external wastegate, Tial 38mm wastegate with 8 and 11 psi springs, largest BEGI intercooler they have, stainless lines and hoses, kit is brand new and complete, purchased one year ago. $3000

Fidanza aluminum flywheel, balanced, new pilot bearing $200

SPEC Stage 2+ aluminum clutch, balanced, 2000 miles $350

Both for $510 shipped.

Torsen 3.90 differential from a 2000 Miata, complete rear, diff carrier has Mazda Comp diff mounts, 1.8l halfshafts with good CV joints, 1.8l driveshaft. $800, less if you just want differential

Hydra Nemesis 2.512 ECU with wideband O2, IAT sensor, knock sensor, coolant sensor, and accessory boost control solenoid to allow the ECU to control boost, all cables, manuals, original box, plus a new PCMCIA serial cable adapter card and cable for laptop. $1000 shipped

RC 550cc injectors with adapters for Miata injector harness, 5k miles, very clean $300 shipped

Walbro 190lph in-tank fuel pump, 10k miles $25

billet aluminum dual feed fuel rail with almost new NA fuel regulator. $50

OEM Miata NA mechanical speedo gear assembly used in the 6 speed, I have gears for the 3.90 gearset and 3.63 gearset $50

RB knockoff aluminum intake elbow for naturally aspirated use. $10

1.9l Engine. No expense was spared on this engine. Amsoil lubricants and an external oil cooler were used. Approximately 9:1 compression. Block is 1996 1.8l, align honed, square decked, deburred, deck plate honed, +1mm overbore. Head is from a 2000 Miata, professionally ported, square milled, +1mm SI stainless valves intake and exhaust, 95 Miata new valve springs (heavier than 00 springs), fully rebuilt, WebCams billet camshafts, Fidanza adjustable cam gears, 2 valve covers (1 cut for gears, 1 not), 2000 Miata intake, ported, OEM throttle body ported by Kinsler +2mm, Felpro gaskets used throughout, ARP main and head studs, new timing belt and bearings, new oil pump, new water pump, reciprocating assembly includes knife edged and polished crank, Carillo I-beam rods, FM Wiseco pistons with coated skirts, FM Wiseco spec rings, Calico main and rod bearings (coated), new OEM Mazda harmonic balancer, Torquemaster spark plugs, new Mazda Competition engine mounts, extra valve cover gaskets and CAS o-rings. Engine has approximately 8000 miles. Parts listed as new were new when engine was assembled. I have receipts and photos. I have over $8000 invested in the engine. I will include extra Amsoil 10w30 oil with the engine. M.net has some images I posted when I was building the engine. My username over there is the same as here. $4500

OEM Miata coils and Magnecore wires, almost new. $40

Panache brake kit (Monster Miata), 11" 2-piece full floating vented rotors front and rear, Wilwood forged front calipers almost new, rebuilt RX-7 rear calipers with emergency brake hookups, stainless lines, 2 sets of Cobalt Friction Sport pads, 1 set of Hawk HP+ rear pads, Porterfield race pads, Cobalt Friction racing front and rear pads, approximately 6 sets of extra pads in all. Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve. Includes extra Super Blue brake fluid. This is an outstanding brake system. The rotors are lighter than the OEM 1.8l rotors. Interested in Momo Start.

Will save up for the Tein SS.

If by tie rod ends you mean sway bar endlinks consider them sold.

You're in Dallas right?

Phil has the trunk. Tyson gets the Teins, Start seat, hood struts, and the rollbar/possibly harness bar.

Sam gets the cops and fuel pump, price plus shipping.

Snowboard gets battery, swaybar supports (these are the steel blocks that go between the swaybar mount and frame, does not have the crossbar).

Rotor gets 1 harness with all the fasteners
Tie rod endlinks go on the steering rack. The 94R units reduce bumpsteer when the car is lowered.

I have to take photos of a lot of the items. I just started disassembling the car this weekend, and this is the rainy season in south florida.

When Emailing me, include your MT.net username so I can keep things in order.

Like what? You mean from the factory hood? No. For shielding various parts, I used AC metal tape and DEI products, I may have some heat shield tubing in the shed.

The BEGI heat shields go with the kit if/when it's sold, I'm not parting it out.

There are quite a few guys on this site that can vouch that the stuff is what I say it is. Most items can ship in a box. Only items that would need a pallet are the hood and engine. I've shipped hoods and engines before using Old Dominion, and the transaction is quite easy.

The rain stopped, so outside I go to work on the car some more. If Phil came over to help, I'd have the whole heaping mess disassembled by tomorrow. He's probably barbecuing somewhere.

The radiator is all welded aluminum, 2 1/16" core, used very little. Fans are 12" and not mounted to core, but to the OEM fan standoffs with OEM fan connectors on the wires. I think the cap is 18-20 psi, and I'll throw in whatever other caps I've got in the shed.

The control arms are original but have nearly new balljoints and Polybush Orange urethane bushings.

If you think of a stock part you want, let me know. I intend to part out the whole car, interior, exterior, etc etc etc. Interior is in great shape, as is the exterior, no rust, no dents. Power windows and mirrors work well, HVAC works well, the whole car works well.
