LiFePO4 batteries can be charged by a regular (modern) car alternator, if the voltage doesn't go above 14.4V. If your alternator provides 14.0V to 14.4V at the battery you're OK.
You should balance-charge the LiFePO4 pack every once in a while to maintain maximum capacity. For that you need a balance charger. You can use the ones that Alienmotion sells or you can buy one for RC-model batteries (which is what I have).
