Default Compression check - w00t!

I replaced my crappy gauge with a decent model.

Compression looks like

196
196
197
206

All plugs look alike and are a healthy grey without soot, oil or wetness.

Sweet. I'm ordering my BEGI-S tomorrow!

I wish I had the funds to go full MS, but that will wait.

Sweet, I think my first motor started out in the mid-150's across the board. Lasted 10k@12psi that little bitch did. Current motor has twice the mileage and twice the compression (figure that out)... you should do fine.

Big advice... as soon as you've gone MS, start buying internals as they pop up for sale.

I read 193 on the 1.6 as a the spec compression... can't remember where I saw that.

That can't be right. My current motor has 260k miles on it and the number last month were 208/208/210/215.

The newly-manufactured engine spec is 192 psi, from my 1990 factory workshop manual. Those are very good numbers.

Carbon buildup.

I'm jealous. My numbers are 145-160, but my motor's been through hell. 15+psi, more detonation than I care to talk about.
