Default BEGI S3 install complete. I'm a happy camper.

BEGI just finished the tuning on my 2002 with the BEGI rechip/reflash and a BEGI S3 kit with a 2554R.

On a 162k miles engine, completely stock, stock injectors, stock exhaust with original cat, 183 rwhp, 162 torque at 7psi on a 99degf afternoon and a conservative tune. Results on the Dynojet at Henderson Performance in New Braunfels.

The reflash passed an ODBII Texas state inspection.

I did the kit mechanical install myself.

Come to TXMC and party with us. I'm going to spend most of my weekends in Rice Village so I need to start hanging out with the Houston crew.

Numbers look great for 7 psi. Any particular you went with a reflash instead of a standalone?

That looks like the perfect set up for a daily car. Fast enough to have fun and simple enough to not have problems.

I thought that the point of turboing a car was so one could have problems?

Texas ODBII annual state inspection. No ODBII, no pass. No pass, no drive. The inspection station must plug into the ODBII port and communicate with the state computer system.

Did I mention painless?

Gotcha, didn't realize...I knew some other TX members run MS but I guess they are all pre-1996 cars.

It will have to wait. The miata leaves in a week on another one of our epic road trips. 7weeks and about 8000 miles. That is why I needed a reliable, no problems system.
Check the local club's website.

I don't know all the details. You will have to talk with Steph at BEGI.

Seems like it put out a great number for a motor with 162k. mine has that same mileage but i don't have the ***** to turbo it with out building the motor. It seems a little tired.
