Okay that's good information to know. Have you read anything about the spool time/lag the t3? I feel like something as close to a Gt2554r as possible is a prime 'daily driver' type turbo. That way I have a chance to actually feel the turbo kick-in before I'm going over the speed limit... I will most likely be going with, dare I say it, the Voodoo Box setup so I assume I will have slower spool times than a Megasquirt. My good friend has FM's Voodoo kit w/ the intercooler and it was definetely quick enough to make it a fun daily! It felt rock solid and the car acted very stock like which I liked a lot.

/\ perfect example of willful stupidity/ignorance and there is literally no cure for it. no matter how much you help them, give them good advice, point them in the right direction, they just want to buy turds, glue them together with snot, and have fail aids setups that suck.

what's the point of trying to help these guys? seriously, someone please explain to me

we should just give up and let the hackjobs have their own section where they dabble with garbage and not bother or waste time of those who actually want to build proper turbo miata's.

I have had the miata out for its first track day and it did alright, I need the coils to come in to fix body roll and a turbo will help a huge amount. Just letting you guys know it'll still happen but will take longer than expected.
