If you have an FM 2.5 in downpipe, um, you're probably in super huge luck, then. Get an FM manifold, and freaking profit.
I happen to have a 2.5 fm downpipe back in the shop, I'm on the road right now, but take some pics, I can show you what you're looking for.

Compare that to the flange on your downpipe. I was gonna say the full 3" fm exhaust wouldn't work, but then in this case, it should...
You could get lucky on welding the cast manifold back up. It worked pretty well on my Audi 5k, but I was too cheap to buy a new one on that one, didn't have a choice.
If not, ARtech or Turbo Tim might be able to make a tubular manifold that lets you retain everything for the most part.

As much as I need to spend to make sure I do this the right way. I'm in no HUGE hurry really. Just trying to judge the progress I'll be able to make on the thing since the crack in my mani. I mean, if I can get a fabbed mani almost exactly like mine custom made, that would save me a lot of effort. Maybe not so much the saving money part... Lol

Welding steel is totally legit, if thats what your piping is. Or aluminum. its mainly that the manifold is likely cast (is it cast? I assumed? If its weld elbows then you should weld it) and is subjected to a billion degrees of heat (ok, like 1800).
But, it'll hold for a while untill you can get a real turbo setup, and it will cost like, 50 bucks if you can get it off yourself.

But thanks, I really appreciate it! I'll work on getting that 'real turbo setup' going. Lol :P I can probably get it off myself but will probably have my Miata mechanic put it on because I'll probably have it in the shop for other things at the same time. Lol

find some pictures of your manifold or remove enough stuff from your car to take some pics of it so you can send them to ARTech and talk to him to come up with a price. im willing to bet it would be cheaper than buying a new ceramic coated cast manifold from BEGi or FM. those suckers are pricy, thats one of the reasons why i went the route i went.

I know right? Aren't they pricey? Damn. Lol. But that's kind of what I was thinking too. I mean, what I have now works fine for me/ my setup. It's just old and needs to be replaced or upgraded. I'm trying to save as much money as I can, but if I need to spend a little extra (still within a reasonable amount) then I'll do what I gotta do to get the job done. There are NO pics of my mani anywhere so I'll definitely have to take **** off to get pics. Will be a fun weekend project at least. Lol.

Manifolds are pretty damn simple, especially cast log manifolds. Wouldn't worry about it too much, as to getting a ton of pics. I say this now, and yet my few attempts are fail, so, yea...
For reference, my Fm setup I got on the m-s.com site for 1800 with the 3071 turbo, and ceramic was about 270 from begi for the turbine of the turbo, fm manifold, and outlet., and AR tech quoted me at ~500 for a downpipe specially made.
P.S. I forgot, you don't have an FM downpipe unless you have an FM cast outlet. Also check my fs thread to see what that looks like. It attatches to the turbo.

But that's really not THAT bad for a custom fabbed DP when you think about it.... Hmm...
And I see what you're talking about. I'm going to be a betting (wo)man and say that I do but I'm really not sure, to be honest. I don't have my car in front of me to look at (or even in the same state) or else I'd go pop the hood and look real quick. I know for certain that I've got a FM midpipe but have no documentation whatsoever about the downpipe but I'm fairly sure it's got the FM downpipe too....

Yes, and that quote was for a Separated gasses downpipe with cat, in stainless. The stuff dreams are made of. And work starts tomorrow! And I hope I can say all that, maybe he'll be unhappy, maybe I should shut up!
Also, there's always the stock Mazda-speed miata stuff, if 240hp makes you happy. Obviously my vote's been cast, but its not too bad. This is where I run away and hide on this site.

Lol. But as far as the stock MS stuff goes, I mean, 240whp makes me more than happy. I'd sell and save for a v8 build or for a vette if I wanted something faster than that. The cars pretty damn fast now even at around 170whp... Lol.

It might actually be a possibility then. You'd need the OE manifold, FM/begi/ corksport intake, intercooler upgrade, and a few other doodads, but if anyone is ever selling the full setup, it'd get you to 200-220 on the stock turbo and managment, and 240+ on an upgraded turbo.
Then again, it might be better to build off what you already have. Not sure where the 2554 runs out of steam, but I seem to recall it not being as nice as the 19t wheel in the bloush turbo (stock msm IHI with new compressor, sort of a ghetto fabulous hybrid), but it may be cheaper to upgrade what you have then buying into a whole new setup. Just not sure on that one personally.

I just don't know if I want to mess with my system all that much though. I mean, the 2554 runs out of power around 220-230hp. But the MSM route very well may be the cheaper way to go.... Just not sure about changing it all up.

You'll hate the spool on a MSM turbo. Even with standalone and everything done, it's got stupid late boost threshhold and a fair amount of lag compared to some of the other common turbos that can be picked up out there. Not to mention that the IHI turbine flange is unique and if you ever feel the need to change, you'll be SOL. I mean, they're OK for stock and OK with basic bolt-ons in a MSM...but nothing to get excited about. It's the kinda thing that if you can land the turbo/mani/downpipe for like $600, then it's not bad.
I remember the old BRP/StageOne Tuning stuff, but I can't for the life of me remember where it came from. I'm pretty sure it wasn't their design. I did find one of your pics of the engine bay..
