I was the Silver Miata on the other side of their Lexus. Dunning Kruger never mentioned you were on MT.

Also I've never washed my track wheels. Live hard, die young.

Here's where I become an uptight and threadjacking jerk...

Please please do not "play" on the roads around Laguna Seca. The neighbors (the wealthy powerful people who live around the track) have a not-at-all-hidden agenda to shut Laguna down. Maybe not completely down, but only a few pro events a year down, yes. And they are doing it by inches slowly but surely. Non-grandma driving near Laguna is just more ammo for the haters. And as to the argument that "the track was there first." That means zippo, nada, nothing compared to the dynamics of local politics (remember the County owns the track). Economic impact of regular HPDEs? There are 10,000 hotel rooms on the Monterey Peninsula (says the local travel assoc.). The broad Monterey economy won't miss us.

I hear you, Billybob. We were inside the track area however, no messing around in residential areas. No harm no foul, I think. I suppose I could be wrong.

I'd say no harm, no foul too. Except watch out, there's a shooting range inside the track/park and they might unload on a pesky Miata.

I was just searching old threads and came across this quote from 2015. Pretty sad that that's exactly the way things are going down now with Laguna Seca.
