sources for body sheetmetal?
Racing with the Pro-3 bmw group is getting a little rough. Nothing "Pro" about the driving. This last contact happened when a driver pulled a hero stunt and tried to hang three wide on the first lap... then spun like a top... Does anyone have a good source for bumper covers and sheet metal?
Next race is coming up next weekend...

Yes, thank you. Mazdaspeed motorsports did offer a sizable discount for racers. I think that a fender is 150; hood 450 and a bumper cover 250. Pick and pull had a light. I'll also be needing a new intercooler and charge pipes.
I'm going to fab up a sturdy nerf bar if I'm going to run in this BMW group. They refer to a miata as a "pinata" and treat you the same. Word in the pits is were really put off by a lowly mazda passing them. I didn't mind the bump drafting. The "t-6 squeeze" that tire striped both doors was kind of a cheap shot. But, the guy who did the late braking "hero pass" on the first corner after the green, spun and gathered me up... that was just a rookie move. Fitting: his name was Dick.
Can't get the parts by the SCCA event this week-end, so looking at Memorial day at ORP. Why don't one of you Southern coast hot-shoes come up and clean the field? The track is exciting and technical... and I could use a little help reeling in this large group. I'll buy you lunch and will even provide "bug and tar remover" to buff off the tire marks!
