Default Lap times for VIR full course?

Curious if anyone has set any lap times in a FI'd Miata at VIR on the full course. I know specs can run in the 2:20 area, curious what a more powerful car can do.

There's a lot of variables to consider. How much power, how much does it weight, what tires, what aero, etc? I'd suspect a ST4/TT4 miata like Savington's would turn ~2:03s.

NASA Specs run 2:17s, SCCA specs 2:08. PTE should be high 2:13s.

Quick search shows NASA and SCCA SM records at 2:18.1 and 2:14.4 (Majors) respectively, which is more in line with what I'd expect. SM7 is faster than RR, but not by that much.

We will know soon.

Team Supermiata/949 Racing is going to UTCC with Bullet, the NA that won Unlimited RWD at Superlap (and they're turning the **** up more on it since then) and I'm joining them with Hyper. Going to be some good fun.

And I'm sitting here with a bent up race car.

A "real" rulebook PTE car would be several seconds under SCCA SM.

Kohler went 2:14.8 back in 2015, setting a pretty high(low) benchmark before selling the car. A few of his many regional records have been overwritten since at other tracks.
