Reminds me of the joke about the bear and the hunter.

He really isn't coming here for info, is he?

I whipped up the "Retard" badge in about 5 minutes, but if you wanna take it to the next level, you have the power to make it happen.

Don't forgot the wood grain wheel, trunk full of yayo, and those 13's better be BLADES, for maximum swangin'.

I agree, its unfortunate. Everytime I see some dipshit in his Miata scraping the floor with his frame rails or some hellaflush bullshit, I want to punch him in the throat.

Just dawned on me that feggit is filtered.

This actually reminds me of the sort of which which started happening in the VW scene in the mid 80s, when people started doing really hideous and impractical things to Bugs and Ghias in the name of "style".

Partially as a result of this, there exists today a tremendous scarcity of unmolested T1s in the world.

I was reminded of this by seeing a really nice, clean Ghia cabrio at lunch today, and thinking to myself "Wow, now there's a rare sight!"

Endangered species (nearly extinct in the wild):

Conservation-dependent species (population steadily declining in the wild):

Agree.

Guys, we're driving cars that deserve preservation. Just keep that in mind. As I do my mods, I'm careful to make sure that they are reversible and I keep the OEM parts.

In fact, that's my hangup with a roll bar. I just don't want to cut my car. OTOH, I want to track it, and I need a roll bar to track it.

What to do?

I hear you Joe.

Sometimes I feal like getting a completely unmolested 1.6 Miata just like the one I had back in 1990. I had so much fun in that car.

Have it restored and completely stock in every detail. I would be happy as a lark.

Would you like to buy my '90? It is completely unmolested.

Unmolested by regular maintenance, unmolested by washing or waxing, unmolested by top replacement...

It's odd that you say that, I was just at a state wide USMC pool function where there where DI's.

Look at it this way. Dead stock it's worth no more than a comparable year Pontiac Grand Am or Cavalier. It's just a cheap car. Let it go.

In time that will change. Especially the rate we are gobbling them up.

Joe if I had the extra space and cash, I would consider it. Both are in short supply at the moment.
