Wrong bolt 6 speed repair?
Yes, I removed the wrong bolt filling my trans while doing my clutch.
Anyone have a guide to repairing the trans after the reverse/5th counter lever falls into the trans?
This is the TSB on how to NOT do what I did:
05-012/02
I'd like to send any info to the shop owner where we were doing the swap so he can expedite repairing it and I can get my car back.

Open trans, find parts that are rattling around, put back in place. If your shop is a competent tranny shop, they should have absolutely no problem with it.
I don't know why you tried to pull a fill plug at all - 6-speeds fill through the turret.

If I wasn't filthy and already covered in gear oil, I would have read the thread it links to...
I filled through the plug because all my previous miatae (save for the NC which was under warranty) were 5 speeds.
