1 peice axles... 1.8 diff swap...
are the axles right/left specific?
im trying to slide my axles in and they both go in one side easy, but neither will go in the left side...
just wanna make sure.
its a 1.8 diff with OS Giken diff and 3.63 gears... but gears shouldnt change the axles....
thanks guys,
Matt

what would be a reasonable explination for my issue then? im a bit confused
the axle will only go into the diff about an inch on the left, but it slides in and out of the right with ease.

i dont think so, the diff is supposed to have been brand new, never having been put together.
how much force is required to push it in? i dont wanna hit the axle with a hammer since i would probably cut the boot.

I had a bit of an issue getting my axles in. How "hard" is it to get in? Getting the axle past the c-clip isn't always easy if it's a bit loose and doesn't stay centered on the axle.
When I did mine I had my chest to the brake rotors and pushed with both my hands. Just make sure your jack stands are in good working order
