Best Miata ride height
My Stance coilovers are sitting next to me right now, and I was wondering what would be the best ride height. These coilovers are shock body adjustable and they come with top hats that allow more shock travel. The car is going to be used for autocross and daily driving. I read that anything below 12" will feel like crap, is this true? I was thinking going 12" all around or 12" front and 12.5" rear.
Thanks in advance

1. Stance dampers are dog ****.
2. Ideal height puts roll-center and center of mass in the same place. That't probably around 12", maybe lower. The problem is shock travel...do you have enough? I don't have enough in my Tein Flex to go any lower because I already have droop problems where I pick-up the inside wheel on corner exit in 4th. I should have gone with Robispec, but I fucked up.
Here's why stance pissed me off:
they give no shock dynos
these are 15-way adjustable and I don't know what that means. Actually I do, it means cheap **** with 15 clicks, not compression or decompression at speed. Real suspension has 4-*****, for a reason.
Their spring rates suck and they don't offer alternatives.
They don't tell you who makes the valves or if you get a mono or twin tube valve.
They don't tell you who makes the springs, I'd like to know if I'm dropping $2k.
They might be hot ****, but they need to learn a thing or two about advertising...that is, if they intend to sell dampers based on performance, of its just more cheap K-sport ****.
As for

As of yesterday I am at 11.75'' front and 12'' rear and have no issues with the bump stops. I'm running 36mm bump stops and FM springs on FCM mounts with factory R package Bilstein's. Love it so far. Excellent for a daily driver that enjoys some spirited driving and maybe an auto-x every now and then. Nothing competitive.
