6ul ship date and noob tire questions
Just got this:
6UL orders:
The wheels are scheduled to arrive in Port of Long Beach June 7th. Usually a day or two from there to me so we expect to begin shipping on around June 9th. Typically takes us one to two days to get all the orders out from a container. Shipping time for Fedex ground is 1-5 days depending on your distance from California.
Apologies for being about two weeks behind schedule.
You will receive a notification from our website that the order has shipped and a second email from fedex.com with tracking numbers.
If you need to make any changes to your order, now is the time!
Send us well lit, Hi-Res, in focus pictures of a clean car with a simple background (and 6UL's!) and we may put them on our website
Cheers
So now that I know when I'll be getting my wheels I need to figure out what tires I'll actually be running. I got 15x8's and Im thinking I'm gonna go to costco and just pick up some Michelin sports but I really want to get some nice rubber alla nt-01 or R1R. I have very very little track experiance but my plan is to start going to auto-x and open track days late this summer. I've read that I shouldn't use r compunds untill I know the limits of the car better. Can someone tell me something that won't make me feel silly about putting street tires on my nice pretty new wheels?
