XXR's FTW!! The hoes love them

But seriously I'm happy with mine for daily driving, and I've hit some nasty pot holes here in Miami and they've held up just fine.

While I understand your point, I was also considering the fact that dude resurrected a necro-thread with:

ive had no problem with mine, and they are just about as light as my 3 piece enkie rims :S im wondering if all the ppl that hate on these rims have even owned, touched, or rode on them, im thinkin they are just pissed they spent X2 more on different rims that arent much lighter and usually look like ****.

Truth^

I have XXR rims and I love them. The paint has been holding up well and they have not cracked in the 6 months I have had them, (knock on wood).

My friend hit a curb drifting and cracked a rim (has XXRs also)
My other friend kept making fun of him saying he should have had real rims not knock offs.
A week later he was back out with the wheel already replaced from Ebay.
Kinda beats waiting 6 months for a special order from japan to replace your bent or cracked barrel on your "real' rims.....
And he got the whole rim for half the cost of a bent wheel repair from NU Wheel.
Take your pick.......

lol... Although I will say the XXRs that I inherited are not bad at all for DD use. In fact one got hit in a side impact crash that "totaled" the miata and only a small crack in the rim... which ruined the rim... but I expected them to explode.

Yeah had a similar instance happen. Had one bashed in and it just had a small crack. They have always held up to the abuse me and a friend of mine put them thru.

The wheels aren't light and they aren't that cool, but they're not bad for cheap drift spares.. I personally prefer Rota if I'm buying knockoffs though, Rota's quality has gotten better over the years, as has their wheels/sizes/offsets.

Fine for a cheap street wheel. But for the fact you can get 15x8 C1's for 89/ea now I wouldn't run them at the track.

Is there a reason that the weights of the old sportmax 002's are impossible to find? I have finally found 15 inch weights, but can't find 16 inch weights. (16x7)?

anyone have a clue?

edit: Yes it is my first post.
