I have a few sitting on my table at home. Let me try and remember to check if any are that thin. I'll let you know either way.

So I remembered to take a look but forgot that my calipers are at my parents house with my car. I was there today too but didn't realize it. I have to go back tomorrow morning to drop the miata off at the exhaust shop. I put the shims on my wallet so I will remember to grab them which will remind me to get the calipers. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Bring a spare shim to a machine shop and pay them a few $ to grind it thinner. I'd do it for free but It would cost you more in postage than paying a local to do it.

Buy shim stock from McMaster and cut it into a circle.

Buy cheap feeler gauge set and cut them into smaller strips.

Thats good timing. You know what, as I was driving today I thought about that exact same thing. It will be the fastest for sure. I think it was the dry roads calling to me.......snows still more than a foot deep in the woods though........

My machinist said he could not grind them down. He said try Kawasaki. I did some research and found some 25mm diameter shims that fit the Yamaha 1300cc bikes.

26H-12168-F0-00 PAD,ADJUSTING 2.30

$10 CDN and they are in stock. I'll use 1 for setting clearance. The diameter won't matter for setup.
