Default WTB: Godspeed Radiator

Looks like my radiator tank is cracking. If you've got a godspeed that you won't be installing for the next few weeks, I'll take it. Can pay for it, or order you a replacement at your choice.

N/M, I went ahead and set up an account with Griffin Radiators. It was more expensive than the Godspeed, but it's 100% made in USA (South Carolina), it will be much higher quality, and I'll have it Monday.

Have a link to the radiators they build?

thanks google, i'm slow sometimes. http://www.griffinrad.com/

My question is do they make something specifically for the miata and how much do they cost.

No; they don't have the miata radiator on their site. You may have noticed the rad in FM's white car under the tent at the Mitty. It was a Griffin. Griffin also had a booth there, with 2 rads (1 FD rx7, 1 rx8) and one intercooler on display. The rep there was Alan, and speaking to him was very confidence inspiring.

<ninja edit, since you ninja edited>
They do make a miata specific radiator that is 100% direct fit, it's just not on their site. Al said it uses 1.5" tubes and holds 2x the coolant as the stock rad, and is more efficient, and has magic healing properties, and tickles your *****.

List on it was like $550 w/o a cap.

I'm planning on setting up a dealer account with them. We'll offer them at best prices our agreement will let us do. None of those details are worked out at this time. The price point will not be competitive with th Godspeed radiator. Neither will be the quality, I'm sure.

How would it compare to a Koyo?

Not the same league. Griffin hand builds their own cores with 1.5" tubes. Koyo buys 1" cores and welds end tanks to them.
