that is a lot of filler at the top. jeebus. dude has great welding skills but might want to learn how to miter his parts better

I think these manifolds are in the $3500-ish area, not sure though. I sorta heard from a guy who talked to a guy who heard...so i could be way off here.

That guy is GOD! If I'm ever looking for a custom intake manifold for a V8 or something and I have some $ to spend, I will for sure try to give him a call. I'd pay $3500 to be able to sport something that nice. As long as the rest of the engine and car looked as good.

maybe he did the excess filler to reinforce the top joint i doubt someone who welds like that would be so sloppy as to not miter his **** to minimize the joint exposure to the internals of the manifold. Still that guy can flat put someshit together.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. Some people have play money and can guy a robotic welder just to have it. This is just a guess, if this guy does this freehand then again...wow.

I think he just did that because it looks good. And I doubt there's a machine made that can weld shapes that complicated on made-to-order parts.
