Adaptronic speedometer drive
OK so I have a 6-speed going in with 3.63 R&P gearing in the diff. Clearly my speedometer will be wrong; the typical approach would be to buy the correct electronic gear drive unit.
But if the Adaptronic is already monitoring vehicle speed, is it possible to use it to output a factor-adjusted pulse to the speedometer for calibration correction? This would be pretty bitchin in general to allow for things like wheel/tire correction based on a GPS reading.
If this would be a full-blown research project I might be inclined to just STFU and buy the right speedometer drive.
All you MFs hurry up and pay Travis so I can get my unit!
