AEM UGEO on Adaptronic
Anyone running AEM UEGO on your adaptronic?
If so, are you running off spare or serial? Are your readings accurate? |
I ran mine serial, worked great.
Appeared to be accurate. |
^ Same here

Thanks guys, I am running on spare now. Will try serial and see if it differs

Running Serial and have no issues...
|
guys,
I am tying to run serial but couldnt get a reading, It must be something stupid I have done. Is there any other settings I have to do? I am tapping ground for the serial from the AEM gauge and pin 2 from blue AEM wire. The color of the serial pin wires are brown to 5v AEM and yellow to ground. Have I done anything wrong? |
serial here too...works like a charm...
Read the instructions again carefully. There's a thread here where this specific gauge is installed. Made by Stein I think. Follow it to the T. Also read my thread (one of them lol) I think I had different color wires from steins if I remember correctly. |
guys,
are you all running the latest firmware and wari software? What did you set for oxyen sensor and second serial port in adaptronic? I am getting a reading from the hyperterminal but not adaptronic:( Also, did u hook up the white wire to spare and the blue wire to serial or both or vice versa? |
How did you wire the ground for the serial was it chassis ground or other any one got pictures / diagrams?
|
Hey guys, the new e420d has a 'mini headphone port' for the serial now. I know I wire the blue from the AEM to one of the connections on the headphone jack, but which one? Also, the other connection should be grounded.. should this be just a chassis ground (for clean signal) or a sensor ground from the ECU?
Thanks! |

Late reply I know but may help others in future:
Either buy a stereo 3.5->2.5mm jack converter or connect via analog input. I used the analog input for my PLX AFR sensor since it does not have a serial connector like the Innovate LC1 I had previously. You SHOULD use ECU GND rather than another GND source for the greatest accuracy. The PLX AFR sensor module only provides a 0-5V analog output which needs to be wired into the Adaptronic's "Spare Analog Input" (0-5V Analog In) on its 6-pin connector so I had to crack open the e440 and connect it to the PLX AFR Sensor Module's Wideband 0-5V output, as shown here: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1348265842 |
