Default Cheap effective boost controller

This seems to be pretty reasonable, I'm going to get with rockauto and see if I can carry this item. For now search rockauto by part number.

Silenoid:
214474
$48.89 Rock Auto
or
https://www.iagperformance.com/shopp...p?prod=1997152
25$

Pigtail:
PT374
$15.40 Rock Auto
or
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku
8.00
(supposedly the same as the above pigtail)

Total: $64.29 Rock auto
Total: Various $33.00 (at 33$ you'd have to be crazy not to make the jump!)

Not a bad cost for going EBC regardless of where it comes from. Better boost response, boost by gear, vary boost by RPM. All at your finger tips. If anyone has a better suggestion please let me know.

Who has a EBC (particularly the DIYautotune unit) running on adaptronic? Are you happy with it? I'm trying to decide which way to go.

edit: didn't want to start a new thread, hope it's cool to spin off a bit on this one.

ZX-Tex does. I also have the same EBC that Brain linked, waiting to go into my car when I get some things tidied up. ZX is going to write up a tutorial (hint, hint) that he has promised me.

Thanks Stein,
I look forward to ZX's write-up. I went ahead and ordered the unit from DIYautotune. It's really my cheapest option, should work well.

The benefits of using the DIY unit is you can select matching hose barbs so you don't have to chad-rig vacuum lines, plus you get all metal barbs instead of the chincy plastic barb on the GB unit.
I have the GM unit and don't like it, it works but i don't like the install due to the barb size differences with my Tial.
