On the Launch control do u have it cutting both fuel and ignition or what.

miatauser123 03-22-2012 05:49 PM

Just ignition. I like fire.

My pops are muffled.

Also when you're changing the timing in the enrich/retard thing make sure you go PLUS 30, not NEGATIVE 30...go 5 degrees at a time to be sure.

Right- the function is to 'retard' ignition. So it you type in '30' it retards the ignition 30 degrees.

Kinda figured that out when i saw my idle at 22 degrees instead of 12.

Finally got around to trying it and it does what I want. Ricer Sundays, already had one neighbour yell at me within 5 minutes.

Thanks for the setup.

triple88a 04-08-2012 07:20 PM

Hahaha :)

How bad an idea is this for me to setup when I still have a cat in the exhaust??
How long will it last?

TravisR 04-11-2012 09:12 PM

Your cat won't last long. EGTs can spike to 1700-1800 degrees under a hard retard event like antilag. Its also hard on everything in the way of the exhaust actually, valves included.

Your literally burning fuel in the exhaust... not long, like Travis said.

triple88a 04-12-2012 12:37 AM

Its ok you can hollow it out after.

TravisR 04-12-2012 11:41 PM

If there was a thumbs up, I would be giving it to that post ;)
