It's alive ... ALIVE!

Undoing the link ground mods fixed the issue with the flakey WT.

FP issue is resolved.

Idles very well, everything appears to be reading correctly.

The only bits I need to setup now is the vTPS and the EBC. I want to also tap one of the front ABS connectors for SVSS, I assume that on a 1.6NA the MVSS works via the stock speed sender off the transmission. Would like to play with launch control.

About to flash the ECU with v3.00 of the firmware. Hopefully that doesn't fuck anything up!

I'm going to continue updating this thread, someone else might find it useful.

Thanks for the help!

Jay

The MVSS isn't hooked up on the NA. You need to either tap into the abs for the rear or the cruise control output from the speedo cluster, its a mechanical cable from trans to speedo. There is a connector tucked up behind the clutch pedal for the cruise, this is where I'm going to try and pick op the MVSS. I haven't tried it but it should work.

So it looks like since I had the fancy stereo in my Miata I have a connection to the speed sensor on one of the stereo connectors. So that should be pretty easy to tap.

ABS controller is right on the footwell, so tapping one of the sensors there should be pretty easy too. Saw a simple circuit to convert the inductive signal of the ABS sensors to digital on the Adaptronic forum.

Hopefully I'll get it on the road this week!

Thats cool. I wonder if its there on all cars...

Unsure. I don't think the second connector is there on the stereos with out auto level.

Any idea what the output of the speed sensor is?

Not yet. I just found out about it yesterday and haven't had a chance to hook up the scope.
