Yeah there is no way I would have passed emissions with the adaptronic connected, I had to go Mike's Place in Phoenix so that he could connect to the computer, but it was reading no codes :(. My only solution was to register my car in Flagstaff where there is no emissions testing required. Honestly, reinstalling all the stock stuff is too much work, it would take days to put everything back on my car. Too many mods :(
I did some research.
For MD emissions, the new way to get around emissions testing is to first get 3 extensions. After your third, you can't get any more. So go to the MVA and turn in your tags. Wait about a week and then go back and get new tags. This apparently "resets" the clock for testing for another few years.

Its funny me and Travis installed the adaptronic now my check engine light wont even turn on even during startup, I gotta go to vatozone see if they are getting a reading on it..

Removing the Adaptronic from the loop, switching out injectors, and plugging the MAF back in is much less work than getting back to a legal ride height, getting a compliant exhaust back on, swapping seats etc etc.
To pass inspection I would have to pull my manifold, downpipe, turbo actually since I am currently EGRless.
Got a scanner and plugged it and it read no codes lol, and no check engine light with the adaptronic. I had to register my car in Flagstaff, AZ at my buddies address. No required emissions testing Yes!!! ha ha
dont you need az plates also?
Over here cops tend to be kinda of asholes when they see out of state plates. I've been stopped twice with my company car because it has Wisconsin plates. Both times cops are looking for **** to ticket me once they stop me.

Go online and look for azdmv and look for something that gives you the option to change your address. It might ask your for your drivers license and a made up address but remember it has to be an address for flagstaff or another city that doesnt require emissions. It might also ask for your plate id, but what im also thinking is that you might have to do it from your very own states dmv
I do have few codes, one was idle too high, the 2nd was map pressure too high.
Any one know whats up with my check engine light? Havent seen it blink since adaptronic was installed.

That's because it disables the light from pretty much ever coming on unless you program it to come on (some have it blink when sensor pics up knock for instance)
Now that I think about it, I probably had a ton of codes, but the light just wasn't on.
I never hooked up an obd2 scanner to it so I thought just cause CEL wasn't on I had no codes. LOL my bad on the wrong info

I had to go back to COMPLETELY stock cause here in **** CA if so much as one damn bolt is misplaced they'll fail you on "visual"

We were going to make a way to get the units emissions compliant, but the EPA is handing out threatening letters like candy. So we've pretty much stopped that direction. Some cars on the new 440 that keep the ECU will be code free, but its because they have to be (they run fly by wire). They also come with statements saying they aren't legal for road use!
Its a mess out there with this new green campaign.

Had I not figured out my idle last week, lol, I would be curious to see if this would do the trick!
