Set delay before closed loop to 0 for sure. This seems to cause alot of issues. What more typically happens with hot start is cranking fuel too low, or post crank idle duration is too low. Try playing with those settings. Remember that the cranking fuel table does not use the dwell table for your injectors. So those are real PWM length values going out to the fuel rail.

Best,
Travis

Hey Travis this is Reyes, I dont have cranking issues but idle problems after start up, my idle sits fine around 1100rpm then it starts jumping all over just by touching the gas it tries to correct it self. rpms drop to 600 jump back up 1400 rpm repeatably. Would the issue not be with the idle control but maybe also with the injectors? due the size of them 750cc maybe I might have to lower the response times of the injectors in the tuning tab, correct me if anything im saying is wrong. :)

Just fixed my idle its great took me a year to figure out how to fix it ha ha

Snake, how so?

Snake333 10-26-2010 02:14 AM

if u want I can send you my map I adjusted a bunch of stuff, but what had the most effect what I changed was on my corrections for fuel correction I set it up firstly in closed loop and went into the closed loop parameters control parameters changed integral gain and proportional gain. I also went into my idle tab and messed with proportional gain and integral gain there. dropped the calm down effort to about 5. lol too much let me just send you my map on the next post I have to email it to my self from laptop on my desktop right now :)

Thread revival!

I'm having the same problem as you guys in this thread. Same ECU etc. I haven't reflashed the ECU etc. - can anyone explain why did this start happening to people - did certain settings in the ECU just change for no reason?

Thanks in advance

Gussy 02-22-2012 05:40 AM

Anyone?

I am curious as well. I almost bought an e420c this week and will probably end up with one in a few months.

Man i've completely forgotten what this thread was about, what problems are you having?

TravisR 02-23-2012 10:03 AM

Whoa! Back from the dead!
This is a problem with the red label Adaptronics having a diode failure on VVT engines. This problem was resolved with all black label and newer Adaptronics. In addition most of the red label ECUs also received an upgrade that fixed them through a warranty return process.
