Wire from NB harness not soldered to board.

1 Attachment(s)
On my adaptronic harness included with the ECU, the middle connector, with the white wires has a wire not soldered to the circuit board. When looking top down its the third wire on the top row from left to right in the number 2 box. its just hanging there with an empty hole.

Is everyones like this? Considering this is supposed to be a parallel harness I would assume this is not correct. Though I'm just comparing to all the parallel harnesses that I used to make for megasquirts so I could be mistaken.

I'll try to take a quick crappy picture.

I'll put you on the list. It looks like it was a bad solder joint. First I've seen of that. I can get someone here to repair it for you, or I can get you a fresh harness either way I'll get you taken care of.

There is no evidence of any attempt to solder it from what i can tell on top, the wire itself has no solder on it. I can't see through the glue.
From what I can tell this is the pin for the knock input. I need the car running today to put it in storage so I'm going to throw things together today and once I have it in storage I can do whatever but it has to get to its final destination today or tomorrow.
I don't mind fixing it, I just don't have a glue gun to recoat the backside. Maybe a harness swap would be the better option. Up to you, the knock sensor circuit won't keep me from getting things going.

I guess they just missed it. Rob will get back with me tonight about what would be best. I've got another order coming in so maybe he could slip it in the box.

I ended up soldering this wire back into the board. Piece of cake.

This happened on my mate's MSM Adaptronic harness too. His had actually bridged two sensor wires together so check them all carefully!

Nice. I found many poorly filled holes that I resoldered to make sure there were no issues. Two other obviously cold joints that I touched up as well. It should all be good now though.

What injectors are you running saboteur?

I'm using the 460cc RX-7 ones.

Did you have wires like this? Seems like they gauge they used does not even fit the holes.

I think it's time to raise the cost by adding wire-to-board connetors so you dont have breaking wires.
