CARB for '00 miata

CARB for '00 miata
Hello,
I was looking at an S3 trubo kit, and I noticed that it was CARB legal for the 1999 model year. Is it also legal for the 2000 model year since the internals are the same or does the EO only apply to '99 models?

Sadly, no. Despite the fact that the cars are essentially identical, since the paperwork says '90-'99, it will be technically illegal on an '00 car.
At the moment, there are no CARB-legal turbo options for the '00 and later cars.
