does similar mean that you could bolt one in place of the same hotside without any downpipe or manifold changes?

Thanks Stephanie!

Any chance of photos? I looked over the Begi site and did not see any individual shots of the 2871 turbo.

Have you guys done any testing as far as power for this turbo yet? I assusme that the quality is as good as the others your selling.

Not trying to sound like a douche, just curious about this Chinacharger Craze

next question: assuming they use the *same* hotside, what's the liklihood I could just pull the chra and compressor hsg off and replace it all with same from 2871.cn

Tim ran one on his car for 10 months. It did about the same top end power as his previous GT2854. He was not crazy about the spool, but the turbo worked just fine.

I'm curious about these chinachargers...I've heard of the ebay ones literally cracking apart after enough heat cycles. Maybe these are better/different? No idea, but still for the price, it would be fun for a couple months at least. How do you think they'll perform at higher boost than 7psi?

Tim ran his at 12 psi for 11 months. I did find out these turbos only have a 15 day warranty. Basically enough to make sure it gets installed and runs.
