Not at all, it's a MiataCage kit. $950+shipping last I checked, although they have free shipping deals every once in a while.

Have you finished any of these projects? Looked like the cage bars were only tacked in when you moved on to cutting the rear bumper before you started the diffuser before making a mount for a front splitter all before taking the time to clean the insulation out after stripping the interior.

All these pics were moved from a previous post. The cage ifs all welded in and had to get it done before the track day that was less than a week away. The only bars I didn't install was the higher door bars, since it is my DD for now until I move back to Tampa and get another.I just woke up so I will get some pics of it up later.

What welder do you have? I'd totally tackle one if I had 220 and gas. Can't trust the penetration and reliability of my 120v flux core.

I have a Lincoln for little stuff but I was using a friends Millermatic 212. I'm looking for getting a Miller Multimatic 200

I was working on this fender when I was TDY in Florida and could't test fit until now. It isn't done yet and will be made out of carbon. It is 30mm wider than stock for the wider tires I will be using next year.

These first two pictures are taken at the same distance and angle to give away to see the difference.

I finished up the splitter this weekend. Now there is a ton of oversteer at 60 mph, so time for something for the rear ;-)

Something must be up with your splitter if its making you understeer. A splitter and no wing should make the car oversteery once at speed.

How hard is it to take your wing off? When I trailer my car more than the 50 miles to local events I pull the wing off to save the 0.5-1 mpg, that adds up on a 1738 mile journey. At least your trailer made mad downforce. :rotfl:

Nice job man. That should really help force high pressure air from the center of the bumper across the entirety of the radiator.

I noticed your new front air dam looks different than the earlier one. Did you cut a new front air dam from the alumpanel so you could have a square air inlet?
