Yeah I've been playing around with that jeep too much, and I got rid of 1 of my old Triumph's for a newer Triumph. Then I added another 16'x24' to my garage last week, which now makes it 24'x 48'. I've been a little too busy to screw around with my car this year.
I'll get there eventually, it's just not a high priority for me right now.

Lol. Daylight savings time and my K Miata oil pan, flywheel, and bell housing adapter still sits in the box. I'm slowly getting a handle on the list of things that are ahead of my car, but I really miss driving it. I'm getting the itch, and I have a feeling that I'll be dropping some coin and ordering my k miata subframe soon.
Life got super busy...kid stuff, house stuff, major work stuff. I'm sure a lot can relate. This is a project that I'll never quit on, it's just going to take a long time.

Just to keep this thread going, perhaps for motivation for me, as I still haven't given up.
In January of 2018 I got a promotion that has caused me to be exceptionally busy at work. I started up a new part of an expansion in which I oversee 2 departments, which I had to start completely from scratch, with machinery that the company and the personnel were completely new to. This included new health and safety standards, new work instructions, new maintenance schedules, the list goes on. I have also traveled to England and Austria for equipment purchasing.
Home life got busier, as my kids are no longer toddlers, and are involved in things like little league baseball, and soccer.
I'm adding about 1,300 sq ft to my house, so aside from dealing with design plans and contractors, that's keeping me tied up.
Thankfully, I have my health. I try to run at least 20 miles a week (about 5 miles every other day). Plus all the other jeep crap I have to work on, dirtbike stuff, lawn mower/ yard work stuff, it never ends.
Blah Blah Blah...what about the car ???
Ok. The last time that car ran was when I backed it into the garage to pull the turbo setup off, which I sold to RidetheCliche. The car still has the stock motor in it, the box of parts that arrived in a previous post is still sitting in the same spot on my garage floor. The K20Z1 that I pulled from the wrecked but running/ driving RSX Type S is still sitting on my engine stand with the stock intake, exhaust manifold, oil pan still bolted to it.
I turned the ignition on in the car the other day just to see what would happen, and the fuel pump didn't even spin. Megasquirt is long gone, so stock ECU had been installed a long time ago.
What does the near future hold for the car?
Next part that will be purchased will be the subframe.
I still love the car and I sit in it from time to time and just dream. It'll get there. It's in my garage, out of the elements (where it has always been). It's just a matter of completing the higher priority items first. But man, I really miss drivin this thing!
Thanks guys for all you support...stay tuned.
