Pouring some out for you and the car. That's a heartbreaker. Good luck on the next venture!

I'm sorry to see your car done in. It was looking sharp with the new color scheme. :( The best news from the whole deal is the relatively minor damage you suffered. We can buy another car, but we're in it for the long haul with our own bodies. So I'm really glad you're Ok - everything else falls into place after that.

Hey man, sorry about the car! **** happens though and if you are alright that's all that matters. It was an awesome build and I enjoyed your journey with the car and all your updates here, so thanks for contributing.

You are going to have to give us an update with the new car, whatever you end up with.

Brother, that's a huge bummer. I'm glad you're ok after that crash, and hope you're able to rebound from this stronger.

Bummer about the car, glad you are OK!

The on-bord does not convey the extent of the damage, I'm not surprised you tried to drive away!! Good luck going forward!

Shucks man, sorry to see it. That's a hearbreaker for sure, but glad you're ok.

I'm sure you weren't in great spirits right in the aftermath, but am glad to hear you're already looking forward to the next build. Whatever that may be, I hope you update and share it on here so we can celebrate the comeback!

Crumple zone definitely crumpled, all the way to the back wheel. Did the rear diff housing arm break or was the impact too much from the left side?

I was actually joking and laughing with the tow truck operator as we did the walk of shame passed Formula D crowd and full GridLife paddock. I was a little more bummed last night when I started pulling all the safety equipment to potential use on another car. I pulled the hardtop off and then I could see how far the back of the car had twisted around the cage (no evidence of damage to the cage found).

Over the winter I had the diff reinforced, so it is fine. I'm not sure if its the angle I was looking at it, but while I was under the car it looks like the PPF might have bent where it meets the diff.
