Since i chaged the inlet mani from a VICS to Squaretop, i saw a dramatic change in my VE table. The car, when out of boost right after the change was pig rich. I mean 11.5 -12.5 on cruize when normaly i had 14.7 - 15.0 Afr.
Almost everywhere exept boost. When on Boost i when from 11.5 to 12.3 - 12.5. I cannot explain it but it feels slower down low and when coming on boost it is not as violent as it was. So i made a few logs and confirmed that it does not
go into boost like with the VICS mani. And i had to incease the boost bias table by alot in order to behave like before.

I am already in the procces of fixing my Fuel VE table( which by the way VE numbers are down by 13 to 15 in most areas of the map, exept boost)

Is this normal? any suggestions, maybe i have some sort of a problem?

Soo today i got this in the mail.
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...c64c2c09c.jpeg

I soldered it and after 5 min, it was like this

https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...8b2240543.jpeg

I tried to find the pin-out but i had no luck. So i found a pic online from a similar looking VR board and i started searching for the ABS wiring diagram.
The problem started when i connected everything and it didnt work. I was not getting any VSS2 signal. I started checking all the settings, but everything seemed ok.

So i checked again and i found out, that the pin-out i found on the interwebz was wrong.

The correct one is this

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...ae997d88bb.jpg

After i used this pin out, it worked like a charm.

I played a little bit with the settings, in order to find the correct tooth count for the VSS2 to display the correct speed.

I havent tried the traction control strategies, but i will come to that when i have the time.

Also i found out that i had one spare analog input free, so i disconnected the oil pressure gauge from the cancheked display and conncted it to MS3. I also activated the oil pressure safety function. (Low oil pressure safety net....)

Ha, that's a familiar looking board, though man that's a rough version of the PCB (eg it should have proper rounded corners etc). Where did you get it if you don't might me asking?

Also, that's the first time I've seen one being used for VSS signals, that's pretty cool :)

I got it from E-bay. What do you usually see this being used for?

So far it works great:bigtu:

It's designed for conditioning crank/cam signals on engines that don't use hall or optical sensors. There's no reason it wouldn't work for a reluctance VSS, I've just never seen it on one before.

I started messing with traction control settings and strategies on the MS3.

It is strange to have traction control on an 99-00 miata.

After i did some testing with the various settings i made the car being able to launch with WOT 100%TPS and let the MS3 sort out the rest.

https://i.ibb.co/FJmfLhV/Traction-control-Log.png

After launch, i shift normaly from 1st to 2nd and the rest are flatshifts.

It's far from perfect, but iwill get as close to perfect as possible.

Also, here is the video from the pull shown in the MS log

I will update as i make progress on this.

Are the VR1 and VR2 pins going to the abs sensors? Can you give a bit more details of how you wired the VR board? Thanks
