Epic. I've seen videos of some diesels running 100+psi.

I got given one of the glowshift 60PSI guages. No idea what I am going to do with it sincd I never plan on running more than 12psi or so (if I can get the M45 to even make that much).

aidandj 11-01-2016 04:12 PM

Tradsies for my current gauge?

18psi 11-01-2016 11:34 PM

yes, yessssssssssssssssssss I like where this is going

Built a little fixture to align the tailshaft housing. This aligns the shift rod hole on the mill and lets me drill a hole for the extension on the back of the T5 perfectly.

How much are they for the 60 PSI version?

Looks like $47? I should check if mine works first. Lol.

New springs showed up. ALLOFTHEREVS

the spare organic discs showed up. Going to go to a local place and see if they can put a new center in for me. Otherwise I will be calling everybody around the country until someone offers to put a new center in. Its just a few rivets.

There's a guy local in eastern PA who just re-used the original metal parts from an old clutch and made a whole new clutch for my buddy's '32 Buick. I'm sure he could put in a new center for you. LMK if you don't get anywhere and I'll ask him.

aidandj 11-03-2016 03:20 PM

Awesome. I'll ask around locally. The hardest part might be getting the new center for a t5 disc. I need to call comp clutch and see if they will sell me just the centers.

Otherwise I may have to buy a whole new set of discs for a t5 and pull the centers out.

Call Clutch Masters.

aidandj 11-07-2016 04:39 PM

I did. They asked if it was their disc and weren't interested in touching something that wasn't theirs.

They were interested in making custom discs though.

Finally got a t25 flange in. Realllly happy with how the top runners turned out. Really clean and easy to weld. The collector is going to be a major bitch. Most of the welds will get little diamond braces ala turbotim. And I will have some sort of brace for the collector.

Found this 95 block on the side of the road. Has oil feed port.

Should work well with the VVT head, and MBSP+Pan.

Fell off the back of a truck?

aidandj 11-08-2016 07:13 AM

Was a joke. Got it from a friend.

deezums 11-08-2016 09:00 AM

VVT Powah!

VVT oil pumps fit old NA cranks, right?

aidandj 11-08-2016 09:02 AM

Afaik yes. Most annoying part is switching main caps so I can run the mbsp.

deezums 11-08-2016 09:08 AM

If you can find a protege/escort block they come with the oil port and MBSP/caps. I think you need a 94+ protege BP though, earlier ones had a small crank bolt.

aidandj 11-08-2016 09:09 AM

It's easier to just have the mains bored.
