Fair enough, but you got rubber o rings. At least grease the shaft and inside of the new bushing.

I also use the valve stem portion of a bicycle inner tube sandwiched between the can and the bracket as a redundant seal.

It was definitely the wastegate. It is back to pulling nice and hard. And spooling way faster.
Pulled the turbo/manifold. No oil that we can see. Ports look clean too. Will take some pictures. Next will be the intake manifold, and look down the plug holes. And if no oil then I have no idea, and will keep driving it. Maybe check the exhaust too. |

Intake manifold is off. It has a shit ton of carbon build up because I didn't clean it before install. But no smoking gun.
Some oil on all the port walls. But the valves appear to be clean. I swabbed them all with a qtip and nothing. Using the boroscope there might be a wet spot on cylinder 4 but it's really hard to tell with such a shitty camera. I'll attach a picture anyways. So I shut the car off while it was smoking, and can't find oil anywhere except the port walls, intake manifold, and maybe on piston 4.
