I like the way you think
Im not afraid to take it all apart to de-burr stuff and lube it all up. Maybe powder coat it so it doesnt reflect the sun into my eyes. lol

No big updates yet, still collecting parts. Heres the current financial damage.

Ive got a couple complete short blocks to sell, and my old transmission. But I also still have a few expensive things to buy, like an ECU and axles.

I would say hard anodizing plays better with T6 heat treatments than powder coating, but the odds that's actually 6061-T6 are probably pretty slim 😂

Either way looking good man, going to be a sick lil CRX.

Jeebus you paid a lot for that transmission! I guess I haven’t looked at prices lately...

That one hurt for sure. The 5 speed accord transmissions can be had for 500-600, and the 6 speed stuff seems to be around a grand, but thats "some guy on FB marketplace" pricing. No guarantee of condition.
I found a local one for $1200 that came from a Euro R Accord (6 speed and LSD). But it was out of the car and could have been blown up.

I figured it was worth it to spend a bit more to get one that came with a parts warranty.

Ive had a few non-LSD Hon-duhs before (like the turd from the beginning of this thread) and it really kinda sucks. One tire fire and torque steer, plus the typical loose corner exit kinda feel you get with any open diff car.
This B16 trans setup with its unknown LSD has spoiled me a bit. Im kinda temped to open the thing up to see if its OEM, because it feels like it locks up tighter than an OEM one would.

Good point. Baking aluminum chinesium is probably not a good idea.

Thank you!

I need a fuel pressure regulator, and I need to at the very least move my stock fuel filter (otherwise the header will cook it).

Thinking of running one of these GM fuel filters with the built in regulator. You can get them retrofitted with AN fittings on them. Sorta feels like 2 birds one stone, and its cheaper than a fancy aeromotive FPR.

Only draw back is that its fixed pressure, so it loses some of that fuel resolution you get from running vaccum to it, and it would also be bad news if I decided to go turbo.

Anybody have experience with these things? I havent seen anybody testing how well they regulate fuel pressure. That would be the main concern.
