So BEGI has confirmed today that the attempted welding of the crack in the S4 manifold is not from them. I'm not sure how you could not have noticed that when you sold it to me. I'll gladly send it back to you for a refund. That would be the honest and fair thing to do since it was never disclosed and it took a long long time to get it to me.

One of my payments to him went through Fab9Tuning and they are not responding either.
I'm turning to legal channels and the Attorney General's office.

Well this is getting good. I’m in communication with Andrew and if there is a better solution I’m open to it. He’s well aware of what’s going on and honestly it was overall a completely worthless situation. Ended up costing me a serious amount of money and seriously delaying the delivery of my old turbo and some parts he bought on eBay that were forwarded to my address.
I wish it didn’t happen the way it did but neither of us anticipated the costs of shipping the number of boxes was going to end up costing. Unfortunately at the same time I mistakenly decided to take a job that was nearly 1/2 my previous income (hence the lack of updates here).
Then like an idiot I tried to just drive them across the boarder (Canadian) because I couldn’t afford shipping them and felt bad for the delay I had already caused. I didn’t tell customs my intentions and they ended up finding out that my plan was to ship the parts to a Canadian address so they seized everything in my car, including my own personal things and charged me 40% of whatever they assumed the value was. At that point I paid over just over $1000 to get probably $1300 worth of parts back. They even charged me 40% to buy my radar detector that was in my glove box.
So at this point I’m doing anything within my current means and I'd respectfully like to keep the situation offline.

Nah, we'd rather never hear your side of the story and instead just start bad mouthing you. Because everyone who doesn't ship aftermarket car parts right away is clearly an ******* douche bag.

Sucks to hear about the border incident. Living in Windsor I know that feeling. Was it at the bridge or tunnel?
I think being a Canadian I have an easier time importing parts than an American would. Sometimes get away with up to $500 in parts, declaring everything, at the tunnel. Other times I get pulled in for $200 worth of parts and have to just pay the taxes on them.
Also, just a heads up, anytime you cross with a radar detector they will likely confiscate it if they see it. Depending on the mood of the officer of course.

Shipping to Canada is not the real issue here. I’ve had over 200lbs and $3500 worth of items from members on here sent to me just fine over the last 5 years. There are countless other US items from other interests I enjoy that I have received dealing both businesses and individuals. I’ve dealt with border issues, delays and changes in shipment prices and times, paying sometimes much more and much less than I had thought but nothing has come close to this as far as the human workings of the transaction to say.
I just want to be treated fair and honest. I simply want the parts I paid for. You have my address and my parts and my money. Can you just ship all the rest of the parts I paid for 6 months ago and then tell me what your solution is to the cracked manifold I paid for a year ago and received 22 days ago? 22 days ago I also emailed & messaged about it being cracked but all you said was “I never saw that” but no offer of a refund or discount was given even after repeated requests after that time to come up with a plan and still none today…….
The only time I get a decent response is when I come on here and make some noise. Keeping this private means I get no real results. Just send me my parts or refund me and we no longer have to deal with each other.

It doesn't cost THAT much more to ship to Canada either... I'm shipping a BW S251 to Edmonton tomorrow, actually. Along with a clutch setup and ECU.
The quote is a whopping $20 more than it cost the dude who didn't want to ship the turbo to Canada to this guy to ship it to me from Alabama.
