I have decided on something I am going to turbo this car too. How can I not? Here is the plan: Step 1: Get ALLOFIT running as a prerequisite Then small cheapass Ebay IC Cheapass aluminum IC piping for injectors mebbe RC750. They worked for me find crapcan and ghetto but quiet 3" exhaust and downpipe keep AC and PS gently remove all emissions shiz for possible future re-emissionsfying use my old shiity begi S5 mani, WG, downpipe use my old GT3071 pick up some ems. probably hydra unless someone wants to sell me a baller megasquirt Hesitations and fears about potential sadness: I am not so sure I want to put on my GT3071. Yes, I already own it. But I think for stock motor power, I could run something smaller and enjoy it more. Also, my BEGI s5 mani and downpipe was a pile of shi. I think I know what fasters to use so the damn thing does not fall apart every few months/weeks/days, but still, I was not fond of it. I will also have to get it rewelded because the bitch cracked. Goals: Whatever I get at 9psi. That would prob be around 200hp on York's dyno which = 230ish or 250 or whatever elsewhere. Yes I will be running a 5 speed so I'm just gonna buy Soviet's trans as a spare. |

I say something much smaller for DD 2500rpm spoolage. If you sell the turbo, manifold, and downpipe, you can get a gorgeous brand new Artech setup and little T25 that will spool sub 2500rpm for the same price.
The key for this one is simple, reliable, and running. |
